    Pros +

    • Fantastic pools. Love the variety. Salt water pool was awesome. Love that they had a beach as well. Loved that there were hot tubs. loved having a spa with massages at facility.Comfy rooms nice amenities
    • The breakfast was amazing!!! The beach house views was gorgeous. We loved our stay. Thank you for making it a fabulous holiday.

    Cons -

    • Nothing really.
    • The hotel is very family-oriented, but several issues impacted my stay. The pools didn’t open until 9 AM, which felt late for vacation, especially for early risers like me who wanted to swim before the crowds. The lack of adult-only pool hours was also frustrating, as constant children’s noise, especially in the indoor pool where screams echoed, made relaxation impossible. The bar’s location near running kids lacked an adult-friendly atmosphere. The prepaid breakfast buffet was poorly managed, with wait times up to 40 minutes despite empty tables. Another guest shared similar complaints. Activities like paddleboarding required a guide, limiting independent exploration, and the roped-off beach area restricted snorkeling, forcing us to visit public beaches. Paid excursions, like fishing trips, were too short for the cost.Lastly, the laundry facilities left clothes smelling of mildew, and the room itself had an unpleasant odor, needing a thorough cleaning. Opening pools earlier, offering adult-only swim times, improving buffet efficiency, providing more flexible activities, and fixing laundry issues would greatly improve the experience.
    • The breakfast for a family of (4) was $200 a day Canadian so $800 for a (4) day stay. The hotel is amazing but because it is a US chain there pricing although in yen is what it would be in U.S. dollars. Activities are $100 a person, off site using local companies on Viator are much more reasonable. Pricing is not comparable to surrounding Japanese companies. We were in Japan for 18 days and this was by far the most expensive hotel for meals that we stayed that. We were averaging $500 a day for a family of (4). It is a little bit out of the way so if you don’t have a car driving for meals off site is not overly convenient. Aside from that we loved everything about the hotel and would definitely recommend it and would eat the breakfast every day just make sure to budget for it.

Not worth the price at all!

The pool hours were horrible. Closing at 7pm meant we didn’t even get to use the pool for 2 of our 4 day stay. That was one of the main reasons we picked to hotel. Plus, when we arrived the staff said if we self parked we had to carry our luggage the long walk, ridiculous. Also, we paid for the $400 dinner only to find out they didn’t have 2 of the price fix items. Then the breakfast wait was also crazy, we had to rush to make it to the airport vs having a nice breakfast. I’d never stay here again. Very disappointing for a Hyatt resort!

Waiting time for breakfast very long. Organisation not adapted to the number of guests. The concierge was not at all interested in helping.

    Comfort, location, design, staff

A greater number of reasonably priced restaurants to eat at. Only 1 reasonably priced restaurant in the hotel, all the others were exceptionally expensive.

staff are amazing - great location - indoor pool is great especially for kids (and if you have a tattoo or 2)

It is a paradise along the pristine Okinawa beach. The staff is amazing the food is exceptional good. The view is breathtaking. It is like a small city on its own. The beach room is amazingly big and we like the fact that it has a microwave oven, a small kitchen with utensils, the ability to refill water and a self service laundry.

Situated at Onna village means food options external to the hotel is minimal. While there are good food options, either you would need to drive or walk for 15 mins up north. That’s said the weather is pleasant so walking is a good option for us

    Clean

Everything about the property is good. The first night we all were and children were so hungry and the service was so bad and after taking long time they brought wrong food to the table. SPA…. Manicure not so well done and very expensive. Thank you

Excellent location stunning all around views, good facilities indoor heated pool

No public transport as such limited movement outside the property…

Beautifully appointed and decorated Hotel with luxury amenities and delicious restaurants. The pools were lovely with many lounging options, the drinks were cheap and tasty. The teppenyaki set menu dinner was exceptional.Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was lovely. Only note is that you'll definitely need to hire a car if you're staying here. It's a very isolated spot. It was 1000yen a day to park.

    9LisaPosted on: 10-25-2024

Absolutely beautiful pool area, reception and general areas. We also really enjoyed the club facilities, the breakfast was fantastic, lots of options of Japanese and western food, a lovely selection of fresh fruit and the best French toast! The early evening selection of food was also great with different options on the two nights. The bathroom/shower area in our room was great. The bed was big and comfortable and the room very spacious. The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was great to sit and listen to the waves. We really enjoyed the snorkeling trip. All the staff we encountered were exceptional.

The balcony furniture could have been better, the chairs and table were small and not very comfortable. I thought the carpet in the bedroom was a little tired. I also would have appreciated some milk in the fridge or even the little uht type milk cartons for the coffee rather than just powdered sachets.

Incredible resort, very nice pools, located in what seems like a paradise, and with very little touristic feeling, who’d we loved. The room and and the amenities were top-notch, the staff super helpful, and everything was top quality. The breakfast was simply AMAZING, and the beach was calm, clean, and well managed. Virtually perfect for us!

Very difficult to point out flaws, but we did notice a couple of things that we would have liked to have: the bar inside the main hall of the hotel closed at 21h, which was ridiculously early, and a pitty. Also, it was not possible to be in the pools after 18h, again a pitty given how warm it was during the evening. Finally, we did miss a bit of a fun lounge with a bit of music in the evening, as the village of Onna had nothing of the sort.

Comfortable rooms Nice swimming pools Good breakfast Nice excursions/attractions

During check-in could have been informed about attractions that are being offered by the hotel. Staff member cared to propose rarer cleaning for a small amount of hotel credits… for not having daily room cleaning. We have received our hotel card and everything else we had to discover ourselves. Poor hotel introduction.

    7RazicPosted on: 9-6-2024

    Spacious rooms, functional and clean.

There are steps to get to the pool, the sloped road goes all the way around so with a baby pram or wheelchair it’s a bit inconvenient… also the beach is not worth it.

    9SusanPosted on: 9-4-2024

Beautiful facility, nice layout for the rooms, very new, modern, clean. The indoor pool was great for the kids when there was a sudden thunderstorm for a few hours. Breakfast buffet was great.

The beach coves are tiny; pictures are deceiving. During low tide, there’s really no cove as the water really recedes. The food options are limited in that there was only expensive options. There were a few local restaurants within walking distance but you have to book ahead of time otherwise they get filled up fast.

    9MartinPosted on: 8-29-2024

Hotel was all excellent. A couple of the restaurants were a little pricey and teh mattrass was a but firm for me but these are small things and generally really enjoyed our stay.

    Softer mattress.

    8MarioPosted on: 8-27-2024

The food at the restaurant is high quality?

I didn't like the queuing system at breakfast. You have to collect a number and wait to be called, which can take over 25 minutes sometimes.

    9CatherinePosted on: 8-17-2024

This hotel is beautifully situated. Large room with great lagoon/pool view, very clean, super friendly and helpful staff at check in and check out. Concierge service very helpful and friendly. Would come back if I ever travel to Okinawa again.

Less about the property but more about the restaurants. The restaurants are over priced and ok at best.I don’t know if all the restaurants offered a la carte but we were only shown the Italian a la carte menu. One of the restaurants charged $350CAD per person, another $250CAD per person, the only restaurant that had a la carte (from what we were shown) was the Italian restaurant. Breakfast buffet was $46 CAD per person, which is a lot considering it’s breakfast food.
